The concept of harmony with the surroundings, the buildings were natural, organic structure, and also creates powerful visual and aesthetic contrasts. The details symbolize bird wings. The colors we chose in this concept is the natural color of the details that provide security and peace. These colors dominate in Rakkestad. The white / gray color gives joy and flexibility..

The quiet and slightly sloping down the plot, leading to further logistical and structural challenges. Respect for the natural environment and the need to take maximum advantage of the views and natural light flow.

The composition makes it possible to integrate different parts of the terraces in the block, from one patio to the expansive space to housing. The result was a building with a dynamic look at several levels. The building's long proportions enhanced by natural terraces on different levels, directed at the sun all day, while the shielded part of the buildings in front of direct access.

The project also explores the vast possibilities of architecture in connection with nature, especially in relation to forest and water, which Rakkestad area is characterized by.

In this special environment, where factors such as location and exposure to sun and wind were considered carefully, the concept's position vital. People have their strongest experience in nature. This is where they pick up the best and where they unfold most. It is in the face of nature that both adults and children, feels like real live people, because that is where one meets life in its totality.

Norwegian climatic conditions and large variations in winter and summer temperatures contributed greatly to defining the design of the concept.
It was crucial to projecting brick / concrete building that is resistant, virtually maintenance free and environmentally friendly building material. The buildings were designed for protection against temperature variations and effects of wind, sun, snow and moisture. It was projected some large expanses of glass to trap heat from the sun's rays from the south west. Covered terraces provide shade in the hot summer months, as well as protecting against rain and wind in the autumn and winter. The flat roof provides a feeling of purity and simplicity, while it constitutes an expert, correct and magnificent modern game of volumes assembled under light.

The concept includes a total of 56 apartments in three blocks. It is drawn in 77 parking spaces, 6 HC seats in the row-house in u.etg and 18 guest spaces out.
